Panto audiences at Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl can look forward to a giant adventure this festive season with fun-filled family pantomime Jack and The Beanstalk from 16th December to 8th January.
Much-loved panto legends Kyle Tovey and Vern Griffiths return to lead the cast which includes Samantha Spragg, Ellena Louise Thompson, Harry Lynn, Darcy Kim, Becky Power, Gregory Joshua Cox, Lloyd Rhys Williams and full supporting cast including an ensemble of local young talent.
Local actor Kyle, who will be returning to Porthcawl in panto for the fourth time, says: “Porthcawl has such incredible family audiences, I can’t wait for another fabulous panto season full of fun at the Pavilion, somewhere that now feels like a second home.”
With Vern Griffiths celebrating his ninth panto at Porthcawl, he is also excited to be back at his ‘home from home’ and says:
“I am so excited to be back at the Grand Pavilion this year. You’re in for a real treat with Jack and the Beanstalk. It’s going to be ‘Pav-tastic!’…I hope that catches on!”
Jack and the Beanstalk is produced by Imagine Theatre. It is written by Christian Patterson and will be directed and choreographed by Jenny Phillips (assistant choreography from Ellena Louise Thompson) with musical arrangement from Dan Jarvis.
Marina Newth, Theatre Manager at the Grand Pavilion is delighted to be welcoming back Kyle and Vern and says:
