Following a restructure of our Board to reflect the community we serve, we wish to appoint a number of new Trustees with the following skills, expertise or lived experience: social care; disability practice; political environment; arts; social enterprises; law; business and financial management.

These roles will contribute to the strategic direction of Awen, whilst providing steer and good governance to the organisation. They will be proactive, be prepared to challenge and make high quality decisions which affect Awen’s staff and external beneficiaries.

We would encourage applications from people of all genders, from black, Asian or minority ethnic communities, those who are LGBTQIA+, disabled, younger and/or from lower socio-economic backgrounds. We are also aiming to appoint at least one new trustee who is a fluent Welsh speaker.
