Awen Cultural Trust is seeking Welsh speaking amateur performers between the ages of 18-25 for their forthcoming new production Gwlad Gwlad.
Gwlad Gwlad explores the real stories and personal connections to the Welsh national anthem.
Written by playwright Christopher Harris, with music from composer Stacey Blythe, the piece will be directed by Harvey Evans.
Gwlad Gwlad will be performed at Yma, Pontypridd in August as part of the National Eisteddfod.
There will be two R&D sessions on 8th and 22nd May. Rehearsals begin on 15th July with the production performed on the opening weekend of the Eisteddfod – 4th and 5th August.
This is an unpaid opportunity as part of Awen’s Lansiad programme of performance opportunities and artistic support for young performers developing towards a professional acting career.
